The Exchange conducted KASE day in Astana
On January 29, an event called "KASE day in Astana" took place in Astana, featuring representatives of the Exchange.
Dana Amanzholova, Deputy Chairperson of KASE's Management Board, noted that the trading volume on KASE in 2024 amounted to 389 trillion tenge, which is 18% more than in the previous year. A record number of securities issues were listed – 226 issues of 86 issuers, with 32 of them passing this procedure for the first time. Dana Amanzholova emphasized that, within the framework of the new Strategy, the Exchange will focus on maintaining its leadership positions in the main markets, as well as increasing their liquidity by attracting new issuers and investors.
Yermek Mazhekenov, Deputy Chairman of KASE's Management Board, summed up the results of international cooperation, which was highlighted by the signing of an agreement on joining the digital exchange platform Tabadul Hub, created by the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
Assel Kazbekova, Head of KASE's Information Products Promotion Unit, spoke about the new information products of the Exchange. She noted that from August 1, 2024, KASE began calculating market prices of securities in accordance with the new Methodology. This innovation is aimed at ensuring greater transparency, accuracy and compliance with international standards in assessing the value of financial instruments.
