Growing trading volume, new issuers and digital assets: first half-year results of KASE and KACC

In the first six months of 2026, Kazakhstan's stock exchange market continued its strong growth. Total trading volume on KASE amounted to 261.9 trln tenge, a 49% increase compared to the same period last year.
๐ Key half-year results:
* KASE index has grown by 9.7% year-to-date;
* stock market capitalization increased to 47.6 trln tenge;
* 29 new issuers underwent the listing procedure;
* 1,015 non-government securities from 306 issuers are listed on the Exchange.
In addition to growth in key market indicators, the first half of the year marked an important stage in development of capital market infrastructure.
In the reporting period, KASE:
๐น launched trading of the first ETFs on KASE indices in Kazakhstan;
๐น received the status of operator of digital assets and digital financial asset platforms, being included in the relevant registries of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan under registration numbers 001;
๐น listed ETFs on Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana;
๐น launched its own podcast, KAST;
๐น continued to develop educational projects for investors and media representatives, as well as strengthen international cooperation with leading foreign exchanges.
