KASE and PSX strengthen ties between capital markets of Kazakhstan and Pakistan

On July 17, 2026, the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) and the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at developing the interaction between the capital markets of Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
"We are convinced that this agreement is of great significance, as our exchanges aspire to develop cooperation, exchange knowledge, create new business opportunities and jointly implement promising initiatives", emphasized Adil Mukhamejanov, KASE's Management Board Chairman.
He also added that establishing a partnership with such a dynamically developing and exciting market is of great importance for the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange.
"One of the areas where we could learn a lot from KASE is the corporate bond market. Development of the corporate debt market is one of our priorities today", noted Farrukh Sabzvari, CEO of PSX.
Furthermore, Farrukh Sabzvari expressed interest in further collaboration on development of cross-border ETFs, one of the areas that PSX is actively pursuing.
The partnership between the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange and the Pakistan Stock Exchange will open new opportunities for issuers, investors and professional market participants in both countries, and will contribute to further strengthening of economic ties between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
