Leasing portfolio of 2.3 bln tenge: KASE held Issuer Day with Garanti Leasing

The Kazakhstan leasing market volume reached 3.4 trln tenge by the end of 2025, an almost sixfold increase compared to 2019. These figures were announced at the Issuer Day with Garanti Leasing LLP, which was held at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE). The company also noted that, despite high growth rates, the industry retains significant potential for further development.
Particular attention was paid to development of private sector of the market. Garanti Leasing noted that today, approximately 93% of the leasing portfolio is held by state institutions, while private leasing companies continue active business expansion.
The company's results were presented by CEO and Chairman of the KazLeasing Association Timur Nurashev. As of July 1, 2026, the leasing portfolio reached 2,310 mln tenge, the number of active contracts exceeded 200, and the level of non-performing loans (NPL 30+) remains at 0%. The company's strategic goal remains to enter top 5 private leasing companies in Kazakhstan.
The meeting discussed the company's financial performance, plans for further business development, as well as funding through bond issue on KASE and prospects for development of the leasing market in Kazakhstan.
