BASS Gold prepares for bond issue on KASE, plant construction and introduction of AI-driven ore sorting

At the end of 2025, BASS Gold LLP posted a net profit of 2.9 bln tenge (reversing a loss from the previous year), while revenue quadrupled to 13.2 bln tenge. In the first half of 2026, the company’s EBITDA reached 3.2 bln tenge (with 58% profit margin). Chingiz Sadvakasov, a BASS Gold shareholder, outlined the key indicators and development strategy at the KASE Issuer Day.

The top priority is scaling up the processing operations: launching a plant with an annual capacity of 350,000 tons of ore and introduction of AI-based ore sorting. Transitioning to a full-cycle production model will enable the output of up to 500 kg of gold in doré alloy annually, eliminate the need to sell raw concentrate and cut logistics costs.

The meeting also addressed development of the Alashpai polymetallic deposit in the Ulytau region, where miners have begun overburden removal and site preparation. Reserves within the licensed area exceed 270,000 tons of lead, and work is underway to officially register at least 200 tons of silver on the balance sheet.

In the stock market, BASS Gold is meeting its obligations on time. Of its 13 dollar-denominated bond issues, five have already been redeemed; driven by investor demand, the company is now preparing for its first issue of tenge-denominated securities.
