On Capital Market Opportunities for Businesses under the SME Qadam Bonds Program

The capital market offers SMEs additional opportunities to raise financing. Business representatives discussed the practical aspects of entering the market and preparing for bond issue with experts from KASE, iKapitalist and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) during a practical session as part of SME Qadam Bonds project.

Participants learned about stock market instruments for raising the financing, the main stages of bond issue, requirements for issuers and the issues that are important to consider before entering the capital market.

The SME Qadam Bonds practical sessions are part of KASE's efforts to expand access for Kazakhstan's SMEs to capital market instruments and develop corporate financing.
