KASE and AIFB join forces in Islamic finance

Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) and Association of Islamic Finance and Business (AIFB) signed a memorandum of cooperation in Islamic finance and capital market.
The document provides for collaboration between the parties on development of Islamic financial instruments, exchange of expertise, raising of awareness among market participants and implementation of joint expert initiatives.
For KASE, cooperation with AIFB is part of its efforts to develop the Islamic capital market infrastructure in Kazakhstan. The Exchange has the necessary infrastructure and access to market participants to implement initiatives aimed at increasing of transparency, accessibility of information and development of the investor base.
The parties intend to continue collaborating in development of Islamic finance and creation of conditions for further development of the Islamic capital market in Kazakhstan.
Association of Islamic Finance and Business (AIFB) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the principles of Islamic business and finance, bringing together professionals, entrepreneurs, academics and other industry participants.
