KASE published on its website the June PMI overview of Kazakhstan's service sector from Freedom Holding Corp.

/KASE, July 3, 2026/ – Freedom Holding Corp. provided Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) with an overview of the purchasing managers' index (PMI) for Kazakhstan's service sector for June 2026.

Below are comments from Saltanat Mukhambetaliyeva, Head of Economic Research and Analytics at Freedom Holding Operations LLP:

"The June results demonstrate that the service sector remains the most resilient part of Kazakhstan's economy amid subdued dynamics of the manufacturing sectors. However, while business activity remains relatively high, service sector representatives remain cautious about hiring. At the same time, we have observed that over the past three months, the gap between the sub-indices of purchase and selling prices has returned to levels characteristic of 2020-2022, significantly increasing pressure on margins. Against this backdrop, the continued moderate optimism of the market participants can be linked to hopes for a gradual recovery of solvent demand and a slowdown in growth of resource costs".
