Kazakhstan president's son-in-law become deputy chairman of Samruk state holding

/REUTERS, Almaty, April 4, 06/ - Timur Kulibayev son-in-law of Nursultan
Nazarbayev Kazakhstan president has been appointed the first deputy
chairman of Samruk state holding, the staff of which comprises country's
biggest state companies, Kazinform says.
The government founded Samruk in the beginning of this year, having given
to it state blocks of shares in big companies, including Kazmunaygas,
Kazakhtelecom and railroad operator.
In October of last year Kulibayev left the post of the first vice-president of
Kazmunaygas, and nothing about his appointments was informed since that time.
Kazinform says, Kulibayev is not accompanying Nazarbayev, who is not
visiting Russia.
