/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, March 1, 05/ - In the first 2 months of 2005, volume of government securities (GS) purchase and sale transactions made at Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE), including bonds of domestic executive bodies, reached KZT113,478.8 m. ($871.4 m.) and increased 16.4% relative to similar period of last year.

In the whole 2004 the volume of corresponding transactions on GS at KASE was KZT753,102.8 m. ($5,558.6 m.).
