According to the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
"The business activity was 51.3 in February 2025.
Business activity increased in production and the service sector, where the
index moved from negative to positive area, reaching 54.0 and 50.6,
respectively (in January – 49.9 and 49.7). In trade, business activity remained
unchanged (51.6), while in construction, there was a slowdown to 50.3 (from
51.0 in January). Thus, the deterioration in business activity was recorded
only in the mining industry, where the indicator remained in the decline area,
amounting to 48.5 (in January – 49.8). The indicator in production increased
due to a noticeable increase in the volume of new orders, new products and the
level of employment".
