Trades for the placement of the first issue of "green" bonds of Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (hereinafter – DBK, the Bank) were held on March 29 on the trading floor of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE). The volume of placement amounted to 10 billion tenge.

"DBK is pleased to announce the debut issue of its green bonds. Given the need to increase investment in infrastructure development, the funds raised will be used to finance green projects in the energy sector," comments Nurlan Baibazarov, Chairman of the Board of DBK.
