COMMITTEE OF STATE PROPERTY AND PRIVATIZATION OF THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE OF KAZAKHSTAN PURCHASES BROKER SERVICE ON SELLING 15% OF "UKTMC" SBS

/IRBIS, June 21, 02/ - Committee of state property and privatization of the Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan (Committee) announced in the official press about conducting a competition on broker services (Services) purchase on selling the state block of shares of Ust-Kamenoforsk titanic-magnesium complex OJSC (UKTMC OJSC) in the amount of 15.5% of authorized capital. It is planned to conduct the SBS sale at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE). It is said in the Committee's announcement that services are rendered within 5.5 months since receiving a task on SBS sale at KASE till December 31 of 2002. All potential suppliers of this kind of services who meet qualification requirements, which have been stipulated in the article 8 of the legislation of Kazakhstan from May 16 of 2002 #321 "About state purchases", are admitted to the competition. A potential supplier of broker services is to have the license of the first category for rendering broker and dealer activity at securities market, given by the authorized body of the state regulation of securities market, and documents, confirming membership in Kazakhstan Stock Exchange CJSC on "H" category. Potential suppliers of broker services, who have the experience of not less than four years, are admitted to the competition. The set of competition documents may be taken for the term till 6:00PM on July 22, 2002 inclusive by the address: Astana city, Pobeda ave., 33/ Abay ave., 52, Dom ministerstv, office 916. Applications for participating in the competition, sealed in an envelope, are presented by potential suppliers to the Committee to: 473000, Astana city, Pobeda ave., 33/ Abay ave., 52, Dom ministerstv, office 916. The deadline for presenting applications - 10:00AM on July 23, 2002.
