Subsidiary Bank "Sberbank of Russia" JSC reported on the financing of Kazakh entrepreneurs in the framework of government programs to support representatives of small and medium-sized businesses for more than 5.6 billion tenge in the first quarter of 2018

/KASE, 12.06.18/ – Subsidiary Bank "Sberbank of Russia" JSC (Almaty),
whose bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE),
provided KASE with a press release as of June 12, 2018 about the following:

In the 1st quarter of 2018 SB Sberbank JSC has financed 150 entrepreneurs in
the framework of state programs to support small and medium-sized enterprises
(SMEs) for a total amount of more than KZT 5.6 billion.
The Bank has financed projects mainly in the manufacturing industry, in such
sectors as: production of food products, motor vehicles, steel products,
pharmaceuticals, etc. The projects of 24 borrowers for the amount of more than
KZT 2.4 billion were financed out of these funds within the framework of lending
programs in the manufacturing industry.
"Sberbank is actively participating in financing of Kazakhstan entrepreneurs both
at the expense of state and own lending programs. This expresses the Bank's
interest in further development and prosperity of our borrowers' business, their
qualitative growth, because later it will positively affect the quality of the loan
portfolio," Yeldar Tenizbayev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of SB
Sberbank JSC, says.
SB Sberbank JSC is the leader among Kazakhstan’s second-tier banks in terms
of lending in the framework of the Unified Business Support and Development
Program Business Road Map 2020. So, this indicator exceeded KZT 437 billion
as of the beginning of March this year.
Over a period of several years Sberbank has been repeatedly awarded by Damu
Entrepreneurship Development Fund for active participation in state programs to
support Kazakhstan entrepreneurship.
