/KASE, March 9, 16/ – Following a decision of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE, or the Exchange) Board of Directors of March 5, 2016 Zhanat Kurmanov – director of Insurance surveillance department of the National Bank of Republic of Kazakhstan – was appointed the Chairman of KASE's Board of Directors.

Azamat Joldasbekov, Chairman of Board of Directors, independent director of Central Securities Depository JSC, was appointed a person entitled to substitute the Chairman of KASE's Board of Directors in case of his absence or a conflict of interests.
