In January – February 2014 volume of foreign currency trade on KASE increased 2.3 times and made up KZT5.3 trln ($32.1 bn)

/KASE, March 6, 14/ – In January – February 2014 the volume of foreign
currencies being traded on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including currency
swap transactions, made up KZT5,284.9 bn (equivalent of USD32,054.6 m)
increasing 2.3 times (2.1 times in dollar terms) against the same period of
2013.
In comparison with the previous two month period (November–December 2013) the
trading volume increased by 47.1 % (35.8 % in dollar terms).
