Actual yield of MEIKAM-3 of second issue - 14.15% p.a.

/IRBIS, Nov.04, 99/ - on October 29 the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan has redeemed the second issue of MEIKAM-3 (#2/3i, KZ31L2910995) in a volume of 959.3 million tenges. November 05 the emitter should pay compensation to the MEIKAM holders in a volume of 33.9 million tenges. This sum includes the fixed rate payement (23.38 million tenges) and additional payment for inflation (10.55 million tenges). An index of consumer prices was used for account of the additional payment for inflation, which wes in August - October 101.1 points, that corresponds to inflation of 1.1%. In view of all payments the actual yield of MEIKAM-3 of the second issue at the moment of complete redemption has made 14.15% p.a.
