Rompetrol Rafinare supports human resource development in the framework of "Kashagan" project

/IRBIS, December 9, 2011/ - Rompetrol Rafinare (refinery unit of
The Rompetrol Group), conducted an extensive program of
technical training of nine operators of "Agip KCO Kazakhstan",
responsible for conducting the first phase of the project
"Kashagan", reports the press service of JSC "National Company
"KazMunayGas".
"It is very important to share with our Kazakh colleagues with
know-how and experience gained over almost 30 years of
experience in this area, given that The Rompetrol Group is part of
the JSC" National Company "KazMunayGas". We have also
trained staff of Atyrau and Pavlodar refineries",- said Arman
Kayrdenov, CEO of Rompetrol Rafinare.
As noted, the goal of "Workplace Learning" aims to familiarize
operators with the flow of the oil platform "Petromidia", which is
the most important asset of The Rompetrol Group.
"The program was designed in such a way to ensure the
assimilation of specific knowledge about the recycling process,
control of the basic parameters of security and safety,
environmental protection, as well as routine tasks of the operators
at facilities DAV (atmospheric and vacuum distillation), DGRS
(gas desulfonation and return of sulfur) and water purification", -
was said in a statement.
The company North Caspian Operating Company BV (NCOC) is
acting on behalf of the seven partners of the consortium (KMG,
Eni, Shell, ExxonMobil, Total, ConocoPhillips and INPEX), as the
operator designated in accordance with Production Sharing
Agreement of the northern Caspian Sea in 1997. The first phase
of the project "Kashagan" is on responsibility of company "Agip
KCO".
