Vendors in Almaty unreasonably increased the selling price of milk by 10-40%

/IRBIS, February 7, 2011/ - Almaty suppliers unfairly raised the price of milk
sales by 10-40%, the press service of Kazakhstan Agency for the Protection
of Competition.
As stated in the Republic of Kazakhstan Agency for the Protection of
Competition (Antitrust Agency) held a regular meeting of Methodical Council.
At the meeting Metodsoveta discussed the results of preliminary examination
of information about the violation of antitrust laws.
"Review of advanced materials for milk suppliers Almaty showed that the
JSC "AIC "Adal", LLC", "Food Master Trade", JSC "Company "Foodmaster
LLP, Wimm-Bill-Dann CA-Almaty LLP," RG Brands Kazakhstan ", LLP
Agroprodukt Asia LLP," Danone Berkut "and LLC" Raimbek Agro "have
raised the price of milk sales by 10 - 40%, not having the objectively justified
economic grounds", - the press-service.
According to the press service, based on evidence of anticompetitive
concerted actions regarding the establishment and maintenance of sales
prices of milk provided to claim 1) Clause 1 Article 11 of the Law of the
Republic of Kazakhstan "On competition", decided to open with respect to
such suppliers of milk investigation .
