Presidents of Kazakhstan and the U.S. discussed the issues of expansion of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries

/IRBIS April 4, 2010/ - The presidents of Kazakhstan and the U.S. have discussed
issues of expansion of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, - it's
reported the April 11, presidential press service of Kazakhstan.
As was reported on April 11, at the official residence of the Blair House was
provided meeting between Presidents, the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan
Nazarbayev, with the United States of America Barack Obama.
President Nazarbayev expressed his satisfaction with the level of development of
Kazakh-American relations. According to information, "the 80-odd billion of
foreign investment that was attracted into Kazakhstan and USD30 billion - are
investments of American companies."
"The heads of state discussed issues of expansion of multifaceted cooperation
between Kazakhstan and the United States and agreed to establish a working
committee under the leadership of Deputy of Foreign Ministers of both countries",
- stated in the message.
In addition, the presidents of Kazakhstan and the U.S.A. discussed other topical
issues of bilateral relations.
It is also reported that Nazarbayev met with the Chairman of the Board of
Directors of the company "ConocoPhillips" Mr. Dzh.Malvoy and with President of
"Halliburton" Mr. D. Lesar.
"On the meeting have been discussed issues of expansion of investment
cooperation between American business with partners from Kazakhstan on a
wide range of promising and mutually beneficial directions", - stated in the
message.
