KASE determined the leading operators of the exchange's GS purchase-sale sector in October and within the first 10 months of 2007

/IRBIS, Ruslan Dzyubaylo, November 5, 07/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) determined the list of companies - leading operators of exchange's purchase-sale market for government securities (GS) in Kazakhstan in October 2007. Companies were ranked according to the stake of deals made by them in total gross turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold bonds) in the secondary market. Position of each participant is expressed in Kazakhstan tenge, only deals, closed by open trades method on KASE, were taken into account. A total of 16 companies participated in making GS purchase-sale deals on KASE in October. Below is the list of ten most active operators given in descending order of their stakes in total deals volume (companies' headquarters are in Almaty) and their positions in September of the current year.
