Financial Literacy Week at KASE: key project outcomes

Financial Literacy Week, organized as part of the international initiative "Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy 2026", has concluded at the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE). The project brought together private investors, financial sector professionals and young people eager to understand capital market mechanisms.

The program kicked off with an opening ceremony at KASE Academy. Over the course of five days, the participants engaged in intensive examination of practical financial instruments, capital protection and diversification strategies. As part of the educational week, an introductory tour of the exchange was organized for students, allowing future professionals to see KASE’s operational processes firsthand and gain insight into the country's financial market infrastructure.

In just five days of intensive activity, the event delivered over 10 hours of practical, expert-level content. The in-person sessions at the exchange's hall and online broadcasts for listeners from the Kazakhstan’s regions covered a total audience of over 350 people.

Four leading speakers shared their expertise: Sultan Zhumagali, Director of the Analytics and Research Department at BCC Invest; Zhanna Kashenova, Executive Director of the Educational Projects Department at Freedom Finance Global Plc; Aman Alimbayev, an AFSA-licensed independent financial advisor; and Pavel Ryzhkov, Treasury Director at KMF Bank. The experts presented practical methods for portfolio formation, risk analysis and protection against investment fraud.

Initiatives like this underscore KASE’s commitment to systematic development of investment culture and enhancement of public's financial awareness.
