/KASE, November 02, 2026/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) presents a brief overview of the equity market for October 2026.

As of the end of October 2026, there were 85 share issues of 72 issuers in KASE trading lists, of which two issues of two issuers were admitted to trading in the "Unlisted securities" sector.

According to the results of October 2026, the equity market capitalization amounted to KZT48.0 trillion ($105.7 bn), which is KZT0.1 trillion, or 0.1 %, lower than the previous month.

Share trading volume in October 2026 amounted to KZT45.5 bn, an increasing of KZT23.6 bn, or 2.1 times, compared to September. Average daily trading volume was KZT2.2 bn, with an average daily number of transactions of 7,643 and an average transaction value of KZT283.8 th. Trading in shares in October took place exclusively on the secondary market.

Among the main categories of investors in the secondary market, individuals were the most active, accounting for 47.1 % of the gross stock trading turnover, followed by banks (0.0 %), broker-dealer firms (24.8 %), other institutional investors (4.3 %), and other legal entities (23.9 %). Non-residents accounted for 9.5 %.

The KASE Index value increased by 1.55 % in October and reached 7,916.32 points by the end of the month.

The volume of index share transactions in October 2026 amounted to KZT21.8 bn, higher KZT1.3 bn from September. The largest trading volume was in common shares of Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, amounting to KZT5.0 bn (22.9 % of the total index share trading volume).
