KASE published Rules for Information Disclosure by Admittance Initiators of Securities with amendments
/KASE, October 9, 2026/ – As reported earlier, by a decision of the Board of Directors of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) dated October 6, 2026, changes and additions No. 8 (amendments) to KASE internal document "Rules for Information Disclosure by Admittance Initiators of Securities" were approved, which came into force as of October 7, 2026.
The amendments are aimed at further improving the procedure for information disclosure by issuers, increasing transparency and timeliness of information provision, as well as strengthening the protection of rights and legitimate interests of investors.
One of the key changes is a new procedure for submitting periodic reporting. The possibility of extending the established reporting deadlines by a decision of KASE is eliminated, and non-compliance with the established reporting deadline is qualified as a violation.
At the same time, an obligation is introduced for the issuer to disclose the reasons for the untimely submission of reporting. In any case, information on the delay is brought to the attention of the market: either via a notification from the issuer indicating the reasons for the delay, or via a KASE notification. When the market is informed on time about a delay regarding a specific report, no more than one violation is recorded, regardless of the duration of the subsequent delay in submitting the relevant reporting.
In addition, as of October 8, 2026, KASE will publish quarterly information on shares and shareholders of the issuer, each holding 10 % or more of the total number of outstanding shares of the issuer. At the same time, in order to provide investors with more complete information on the ownership structure of issuers, the 5 % threshold for disclosing information on shareholders as part of the issuer's annual report is maintained.
