On October 5, 2026, the international rating agency S&P Global Ratings upgraded the long-term issuer default rating of KazTransOil JSC from "BBB-" to "BBB" with a stable outlook.

According to the S&P Global Ratings press release, the decision to upgrade KazTransOil JSC's rating was made taking into account the reduction in the country risk of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the maintenance of stable operating performance by KazTransOil JSC.

The rating of KazTransOil JSC is aligned with the rating of its parent company NC KazMunayGas JSC, as well as with the sovereign rating of the Republic of Kazakhstan ("BBB").
