To replenish fish stocks in the Caspian Sea basin and its coastal areas, Main Waterline LLP (MW), a subsidiary of KazTransOil JSC, has released 26,307 sturgeon fry into the Kigash River.

The stocking was carried out in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan 1On the Protection, Reproduction and Use of Wildlife1 and is aimed at maintaining fish populations and the ecological balance of the water system in the Caspian region.
