/KASE, August 03, 2026/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) presents a brief overview of the equity market for July 2026.

As of the end of July 2026, there were 87 share issues of 74 issuers in KASE trading lists, of which two issues of two issuers were admitted to trading in the "Unlisted securities" sector.

According to the results of July 2026, the equity market capitalization amounted to KZT47.7 trillion ($100.5 bn), which is KZT0.1 trillion, or 0.3 %, higher than the previous month.

Share trading volume in July 2026 amounted to KZT19.8 bn, an decreasing of KZT5.0 bn, or 20.1 %, compared to June. Average daily trading volume was KZT0.9 bn, with an average daily number of transactions of 7,609 and an average transaction value of KZT118.4 th. Trading in shares in July took place exclusively on the secondary market.

Among the main categories of investors in the secondary market, individuals were the most active, accounting for 48.0 % of the gross stock trading turnover, followed by banks (0.1 %), broker-dealer firms (15.3 %), other institutional investors (7.7 %), and other legal entities (28.8 %). Non-residents accounted for 6.0 %.

The KASE Index value increased by 1.23 % in July and reached 7,807.55 points by the end of the month.

The volume of index share transactions in July 2026 amounted to KZT18.7 bn, lower KZT4.1 bn from June. The largest trading volume was in common shares of Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, amounting to KZT5.1 bn (27.3 % of the total index share trading volume).
