/KASE, July 01, 2026/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) presents a brief overview of the equity market for June 2026.

As of the end of June 2026, there were 88 share issues of 75 issuers in KASE trading lists, of which two issues of two issuers were admitted to trading in the "Unlisted securities" sector.

According to the results of June 2026, the equity market capitalization amounted to KZT47.6 trillion ($97.9 bn), which is KZT0.2 trillion, or 0.4 %, higher than the previous month.

Share trading volume in June 2026 amounted to KZT24.8 bn, an decreasing of KZT4.9 bn, or 16.5 %, compared to May. Average daily trading volume was KZT1.1 bn, with an average daily number of transactions of 9,155 and an average transaction value of KZT123.2 th. Trading in shares in June took place exclusively on the secondary market.

Among the main categories of investors in the secondary market, individuals were the most active, accounting for 53.2 % of the gross stock trading turnover, followed by banks (0.4 %), broker-dealer firms (13.7 %), other institutional investors (7.0 %), and other legal entities (25.8 %). Non-residents accounted for 27.0 %.

The KASE Index value decreased by 1.60 % in June and reached 7,712.53 points by the end of the month.

The volume of index share transactions in June 2026 amounted to KZT22.8 bn, lower KZT5.8 bn from May. The largest trading volume was in common shares of National Company KazMunayGas JSC, amounting to KZT6.9 bn (30.2 % of the total index share trading volume).
