New internal documents of KASE defining various aspects of trading activities and amendments to a number of KASE internal documents come into effect from July 1
/KASE, July 1, 2026, repeat of news from June 25, 2026/ – By a decision of the Board of Directors of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC (KASE) dated June 24, 2026, the following documents were approved:
Trading Rules;
Regulations on the Structure and Composition of the List of Financial Instruments Admitted to Trading on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC.
The specified documents come into effect on July 1, 2026.
By a decision of the Management Board of KASE dated June 11, 2026, the following documents were approved:
Rules for Concluding Transactions;
Trading Regulations and Financial Instrument Parameters;
Procedure for Opening, Maintaining, and Closing Trading and Clearing Accounts;
Rules for Granting Access to the Trading and Clearing Systems of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC;
Glossary of Main Designations;
Instruction on Granting Access to the Test Environment of the Trading and Clearing System and Certification of External Software and Hardware;
Amendments No. 27 to the Rules of Market-Maker Activities;
Amendments No. 19 to the Instruction on the Procedure for Assigning Codes to Members of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC and Their Accounts, Trading System Users, Issuers of Securities, and Financial Instruments.
The specified documents and amendments also come into effect on July 1, 2026.
These documents have been developed to optimize the internal documents regulating the organization and conduct of trading on KASE.
As part of the update of the regulatory framework, eight key internal documents have been developed:
Trading Rules represent a basic document establishing unified principles, requirements, and procedures for organizing and conducting trading on KASE. The Rules consolidate the provisions of several previously effective documents, forming a unified system for the organization of trading, which includes:
the structure and principles of functioning of exchange markets;
categories of trading participants and their responsibilities;
the procedure for admission, submission of orders, and execution of transactions;
trading methods and actions in the event of technical failures.
Regulations on the Structure and Composition of the List of Financial Instruments Admitted to Trading on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC define the structure and composition of the list of financial instruments admitted to trading on the exchange markets.
Rules for Concluding Transactions describe all types of transactions with and without the involvement of a central counterparty, including specialized trading, public offerings of securities, and subscriptions to securities.
Trading Regulations and Financial Instrument Parameters include financial instrument specifications and procedures previously established for all markets and instruments.
Procedure for Opening, Maintaining, and Closing Trading and Clearing Accounts is a structured document defining the procedure for opening, maintaining, and closing trading and clearing accounts on exchange markets.
Rules for Granting Access to the Trading and Clearing Systems of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC establish a unified procedure for granting access to KASE's trading and clearing systems and the conditions for their use. The Rules also introduce a requirement for traders to pass a test upon completion of training on operating KASE's trading and clearing system (this requirement is scheduled to come into effect on January 1, 2027).
Glossary of Main Designations defines key symbols for their standardized use both in internal documents and activities of KASE, and, as necessary, in the activities of KASE members and its other clients.
Instruction on Granting Access to the Test Environment of the Trading and Clearing System and Certification of External Software and Hardware establishes the procedure for certifying external software and hardware connected to KASE's trading and clearing system.
The following documents will be deemed invalid from July 1, 2026:

Rules for Conducting Subscriptions to Securities;
Rules for Placing Government Treasury Bonds of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
Rules for Conducting Repo Transactions in the ASTS+ Trading and Clearing System;
Rules for Providing Access to the Exchange's Trading Systems;
Regulation on the Structure of the List of Financial Instruments Allowed for Circulation in the Trading System of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC;
Procedure for Concluding Deals with Securities with the Participation of the Central Counterparty;
Regulations on Trading Modes and Operations on the Stock Market;
Regulations on Trading Modes in the Currency Market;
Regulations on Trading and Operation of the Control and Collateral System;
Specification of Repo Transactions Conducted by the "Automatic" Method;
