Review of KASE equity market in February 2026
/KASE, March 6, 2026/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) presents a brief overview of the equity market for February 2026.
As of the end of February 2026, shares of 89 names of 76 issuers were on the KASE trading lists, of which shares of two names of two issuers were admitted to trading in the "Unlisted securities" sector.
According to the results of February 2026, the equity market capitalization amounted to 44.7 trillion tenge ($89.2 bn), which is 0.8 trillion tenge, or 1.8 %, higher than the previous month.

Share trading volume in February 2026 amounted to 24.4 bn tenge, an increase of 0.1 bn tenge, or 0.5 %, compared to January. Average daily trading volume was 1.2 bn tenge, with an average daily number of transactions of 9,408 and an average transaction value of 129,500 tenge. Share trading in February took place exclusively on the secondary market.
Among the main categories of investors in the secondary market, individuals were the most active, accounting for 49.6 % of the gross stock trading turnover, followed by banks (0.2 %), broker-dealer firms (25.1 %), other institutional investors (3.5 %), and other legal entities (21.6 %). Non-residents accounted for 10.4 %.
The KASE Index value increased by 0.1 % in February and reached 7,711.15 points by the end of the month.
The volume of index share transactions in February 2026 amounted to 18.7 bn tenge, down 0.1 bn tenge from January. The largest trading volume was in common shares of National Atomic Company "Kazatomprom" JSC, amounting to 4.8 bn tenge (25.8 % of the total index share trading volume).
