ForteBank JSC, one of Kazakhstan's leading banks, announces the completion of a unique deal to raise a syndicated loan in the amount of 750 million Chinese yuan for a term of three years. This is the first syndicated loan in yuan in Kazakhstan's history attracted by a commercial bank.

The transaction marks an important stage in the development of ForteBank and the Kazakh financial market, highlighting the growing role of alternative currency funding instruments and strengthening economic ties between Kazakhstan and China.

Significant interest from international investors ensured that the deal was doubled from its initial size. The syndicate included five international banks. The Mandated Lead Arrangers are ICBC Standard Bank plc / ICBC Almaty JSC , First Abu Dhabi Bank PJSC and the Export-Import Bank of China. Altyn Bank JSC acted as the organizer.

The funds will be used to finance major investment projects in key sectors of the economy, including metallurgy, industry and other strategically important sectors. This initiative will modernize production facilities, stimulate the introduction of modern technologies and strengthen the position of the national economy in the international arena.
