Following the principles of responsible nature management, Main Waterline LLP, 100% of which belongs to KazTransOil JSC, has stocked the Kigash River with fish. In order to preserve the biological diversity of the Caspian Sea and its coastal zone, 52,160 sturgeon fry, including beluga, ship sturgeon, sterlet and stellate sturgeon, were released into the river. The replenishment of fish resources of the Kigash River was carried out in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Protection, Reproduction and Use of Wildlife".
