To expand access to finance for small businesses and women entrepreneurs across Kazakhstan, IFC and Arnur Credit signed an agreement to provide a loan in national currency equivalent to US$10 million, with 40 % of the financing allocated to support women-led businesses. This initiative is part of IFC’s broader strategy to promote inclusive economic growth, support small entrepreneurship, and create jobs.
The tranche is the first part of a larger $15 million package. It includes a $5 million-equivalent loan from IFC and a $5 million-equivalent loan from institutional impact investor Invest in Visions.
