Inflation in the Republic of Kazakhstan in November 2011 was 0.6%

/IRBIS, December 1, 2011/ - Inflation in the Republic of Kazakhstan in November 2011 was 0.6%, was stated in the message of Republic of Kazakhstan Agency of Statistics, spread today.

Prices for food goods for the past month increased by 0.8%, non-food goods and payable services - by 0.4% each.

In the past month increase in prices was recorded for meat and meat products - by 3.2%, eggs - by 2.9%, cheese - by 1.9%, fresh milk - by 1.1%, dairy products and butter - 1 %. Prices for fresh fruits and vegetables increased by 0.8%, soft drinks - by 0.6%, fish and seafood - 0.5%. Reduce in prices was marked for rice by 0.8%, flour and groats - by 2.4%, potatoes - by 3.4%, sugar - by 7.3%.

Prices for clothing and footwear, products for personal care rose by 0.5%, household goods, pharmaceutical products - by 0.4%. The prices for solid fuel were 2.2%, liquefied gas - 0.4%.

In the area of housing and communal services payment for hot water prices increased by 1.6%, garbage collection - by 2.2%. Health services, hairdressing and personal service establishments rose by 0.9%, transport and education - by 0.4%, culture, restaurants and hotels - by 0.3%.

The consumer price index, which characterizes the rate of inflation, shows the change in prices for goods and services purchased by the public for personal use A set of products and services include 508 positions. Prices are collected on a selective network of retail and service industries of various forms of ownership in all regional centers, the capital and the terms of the cities and district centers.
