/INTERFAX, Moscow, May 30, 06/ - Sokolovsk-Sarbay ore mining and processing group (SSOMPG), the main producer and exporter of goods iron ore in Kazakhstan in January-April 2006 increased exporting of iron-ore pellets by 4.7% in comparison with January-April 2005, up to 2.66 m. tons, exporting of concentrate - by 38.4%, up to 1.98 m. tons.

As Interfax has been informed in Rudprom concern (unifies most of producers of iron ore raw materials in Russian Federations), at that, exporting of pellets to China increased 2.6 times - up to 1.16 m. tons, and exporting to Russia reduces by 28.4%, up to 1.51 m. tons. On the contrary, exporting of concentrate to Russia increased by 34.2%, up to 1.84 thousand tons.

Enterprises of Kazakhstan have made 5.94 m. tons of goods iron ore for 4 months in 2006, that by 8.6% less than in January-April 2005.
