STOCK MARKET
KASE Index's value increased by 1.05% to 7,082.67 points on Friday. The largest number of transactions among the shares of the representative list were made with shares of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC – 4,246. The largest volume of transactions was in shares of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC – 688.0 million tenge. Shares of seven issuers demonstrated growth – Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (+5.45%), Kaspi.kz JSC (+1.88%), Kazakhtelecom JSC (+1.70%), Air Astana JSC (+1.60%), Bank CenterCredit JSC (+0.44%), Kcell JSC (+0,44%) and KEGOC JSC (+0.21%).
MONEY MARKET
Yield on repo transactions with government securities (GS) for one day (TONIA) decreased by 3 b.p. and amounted to 17.01% per annum following results of the trading day. The rate of borrowing tenge against US dollars for one day (SWAP-1D (USD)) increased by 10 b.p. and amounted to 10.08% per annum. The total volume of trading in one-day money market instruments amounted to 1.149 trillion tenge.
CURRENCY MARKET
As of 17:00, the average weighted exchange rate of the US dollar to the tenge with a settlement date of "tomorrow" based on the results of trading on Friday was 522.24 tenge. The national currency depreciated by 2.02 tenge. The trading volume was 293.804 million US dollars. 766 transactions were concluded. The minimum price was 521.00 tenge per US dollar, the maximum was 523.23 tenge, the price of the last transaction was 521.40 tenge.
