The largest volume of transactions was in shares of KazMunayGas National Company JSC – 945.6 million tenge. Shares of five issuers demonstrated growth – KazMunayGas National Company JSC (+1.43%), Kcell JSC (+0.84%), Kaspi.kz JSC (+0.73%), Kazatomprom National Atomic Company JSC (+0.38%), and Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (+0.35%).

MONEY MARKET
Yield on repo transactions with government securities (GS) for one day (TONIA) increased by 16 b.p. and amounted to 14.78% per annum following results of the trading day. The rate of borrowing tenge against US dollars for one day (SWAP-1D (USD)) increased by 90 b.p. and amounted to 11.23% per annum. The total volume of trading in one-day money market instruments amounted to 521.656 billion tenge.

CURRENCY MARKET
As of 17:00, the average weighted exchange rate of the US dollar to the tenge with a settlement date of "tomorrow" based on the results of trading on Tuesday was 520.11 tenge. The national currency appreciated by 1.72 tenge. The trading volume was 191.764 million US dollars. 601 transactions were concluded. The minimum price was 518.00 tenge per US dollar, the maximum was 522.50 tenge, the price of the last transaction was 519.52 tenge.

The price of April Brent oil futures on the London ICE Futures exchange decreased by 1.34% by 18:00 Almaty time on Tuesday and amounted to 74.94 US dollars per barrel.
