STOCK MARKET
KASE Index decreased by 0.17% to 7,042.79 points on Friday. The largest number of transactions among the shares of the representative list were made with shares of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC – 3,030. The largest volume of transactions was in shares of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC – 324.2 million tenge. Shares of five issuers demonstrated growth – Kazakhtelecom JSC (+0.82%), National Company KazMunayGas JSC (+0.81%), KEGOC JSC (+0.66%), Kcell JSC (+0.30%), and Bank CenterCredit JSC (+0.08%).
MONEY MARKET
Yield on repo transactions with government securities (GS) for one day (TONIA) decreased by 4 b.p. and amounted to 17.02% per annum following the results of the trading day. The rate of borrowing tenge against US dollars for one day (SWAP-1D (USD)) decreased by 132 b.p. and amounted to 10.62% per annum. The total volume of trading in one-day money market instruments amounted to 1.104 trillion tenge.
CURRENCY MARKET
As of 17:00, the average weighted exchange rate of the US dollar to the tenge with a settlement date of "tomorrow" based on the results of trading on Friday was 504.24 tenge. The national currency strengthened by 7.8 tenge. Trading volume amounted to 510.593 million US dollars. A total of 1,241 transactions were concluded. The minimum price was 497.52 tenge per US dollar, the maximum price was 509.75 tenge, and the price of the last transaction was 505.95 tenge.
