Notes

Company market capitalization is value, equal to the product of the number of the company's shares (common and preferred), which are in circulation, and price of the last deal, made on KASE in the shares.

Number of paid shares is determined by KASE as difference between the number of announced shares and number of shares on issue and re-issue accounts of the issuer (including nominal holding), as well as shares, which, according to nominal holder, are in issuer's ownership.

It's notable that in company's market capitalization calculation KASE considers new number of paid up shares not at the date of complying the extract from the register, but at the date of receiving the extract by the exchange (at the date of its processing by the exchange). disadvantages of such the method are obvious. However using other methods is impossible since KASE calculates capitalization daily, takes it into account in indexes and can not recalculate these indicators backdating.

According to the Listing rules, companies, whose securities have been included in KASE's official securities list, must at present to the exchange extracts from shareholders registers system as of the beginning of each calendar quarter. Each extract is processed by KASE either o the day of receipt, or on the next business day. However, many issuers present extracts with a considerable delay (from several days to several months). Although, among companies, which present extracts with the biggest delay, as a rule there are derivative organizations, authorized capitals of which change seldom.

Price of the last deal is used while calculating company's market capitalization on KASE as now regardless whether the deal was market one of nego. If no deals were made in shares of any company on KASE, and all issues of such shares have been registered by authorized bodies in the old legal framework, shares face value is taken into account during calculation. If share issue has been registered in a new legal framework (in other words the notion of face value exists only for company's founders while forming dues), in case of absence of deals in this issue shares equals to zero.

While calculating companies market capitalization at ranking date deals, made on KASE in the shares on that day, are not considered. In other words, capitalization is calculated by the results of the last trades, preceding to ranking date.

Company's market capitalization is calculated in Kazakhstan tenge. It's converted into US dollars at weighted average rate of tenge to dollar, formed at KASE's morning session on the last business day, preceding to ranking date.

Company's stake, % is the indicator, received by ascription of company's market capitalization to total capitalization of exchange's market of shares of KASE's official securities list and expressed as percentage. As of April 1 of 2006 it was USD29,335.2 m. KASE's official securities list comprised 87 shares of 60 issuers.
