KASE determined leading operators of stock exchange's corporate bond market in Kazakhstan in March and the first 3 months of 2006

/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, April 5, 06/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) has determined leading operators of stock exchange's corporate bond market in March, 2006.

Companies are ranked according to the stake of deals made by it in total gross turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold bonds). At that, only purchase and sale transactions on the secondary market are taken into account. Position of each trade participant is expressed in Kazakhstan tenge.

A total of in March 35 companies participated in making shares purchase and sale deals on KASE. Below is the list of ten most active operators in descending order of their stakes in total deals volume (all headquarters are in Almaty, unless otherwise specified). Stake of these operators in March was 72.4% of turnover of corresponding sector of stock exchange.

Newcomers of the "active ten" relative to February of 2006 are Financial company REAL INVEST.kz JSC , Halyk savings bank of Kazakhstan JSC, RG Securities JSC, Kazkommertsbank JSC and accumulative pension fund SAPF JSC, they have replaced PAIMO Bailyk asset management JSC (Almaty, the second position in February), Kazakhstan financial company JSC (Almaty, the fourth position in February), ATFBank JSC (Almaty, the seventh position in February), Halyk Finance JSC (Almaty, the eighth position in February) and PAIMO ABN AMRO Asset Management JSC (Almaty, the tenth position in February)

Below is similar table of the most active KASE's members of "P" and "H" categories in the sector in the first 3 months of 2006. A total of 41 companies participated in making deals in this period. Stake of the "best ten" was 74.0% of gross-turnover of deals of shares purchase and sale on KASE.
