In 2 months of 2006 volume of all transactions on KASE grew 1.5 times in comparison with similar period of 2005
/IRBIS, Sergey Yakovlev, March 6, 06/ - In the first two months of 2006 total volume of transactions made in all sectors of Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached equivalent of $17,966.8 m. or KZT2,372.3 bn. Compared to similar period of 2005 volume of transactions has increased 1.49 times measured in dollars and 1.51 times measured in tenge.
Relative to previous two-month period (November - December of 2005) stock exchange's turnover has increased by 34.4% measured in dollars and 32.5% measured in tenge.
