/IRBIS, Sergey Yakovlev, March 6, 06/ - In February of 2006 total volume of transactions made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) grew by 18.7% in terms of dollar relative to previous month to the equivalent of $9,751.3 m. In tenge equivalent it grew by 17.3%, and volume of exchange's transactions - by KZT1,280.4 bn.

Compared to February of 2005 volume of transactions has increased 1.67 times measured in dollars and 1.68 times measured in tenge.
