Kazakhstan simplifies access to alternative telecommunication operators

/REUTERS, Almaty, Oljas Auezov, January 16, 06/ - Kazakhstan's
informatization Agency has brought for Justice ministry's approval the
technology, simplifying choice among seven telecommunication operators,
the order published at www.aic.gov.kz says.
At present operators, competing with the former monopolist Kazakhtelecom,
render intercity and international communication services only through own
dedicated lines or using IP-telephony (internet).
With the introduction of the new system phone owners will use services of
Kazakhtelecom, KazTransCom, Transtelecom, Arna, TNS Plus, ASTEL and
Nursat, having dialed corresponding code while dialing a number.
Corresponding order of the Agency will take effect, if it's approved by the
Justice ministry.
