Commodity circulation between Russia and Kazakhstan in 2005 exceeded $9 bn. - MFA RF

/INTERFAX, Moscow, January 9, 06/ - Russian party is satisfied with overall
development of relations with Kazakhstan in 2005, Mikhail Kamynin, official
representative of MFA of RF informed on Monday answering reporters'
questions.
"In passed 2005 Russian-Kazakhstan interaction got further overall
development. Economic connections between two countries have
strengthened. So, commodity circulation by the year results, by preliminary
data, equaled over $9 bn. Dynamic and progressive character bore
collaboration also in other fields", - M.Kamynin noted.
According to him, exchange of certificates about ratification of Agreement
about Russian-Kazakhstan state border is prepared, signing of Agreement
about establishment of Eurasian bank of development and Agreement about
collaboration between Vnesheconombank and Development bank of
Kazakhstan is planned.
M.Kamynin added, that events of historical importance in bilateral relations
became signing in Moscow in January 2005 of Agreement between Russian-
Kazakhstan state border and its simultaneous ratification in parliaments of
both countries in November.
Answering the question, what problems Russia and Kazakhstan pay special
attention in the course of bilateral contacts, representative of MFA informed,
that, "as a rule, it is wide complex of actual questions of Russian-Kazakhstan
relations".
"There is also subject exchange of opinions on questions of interaction
between Russia and Kazakhstan in integration structures - within CIS,
Eurasian economic community, Organization of Agreement about collective
safety, Shanghai collaboration organization. Attention to problems,
connected with providing regional safety and stability is paid", - M.Kamynin
said.
