In 2005 volume of repo transactions on KASE reached KZT8,090.4 bn. and grew 1.4 times

/IRBIS, Ranida Gabdeyeva, January 4, 06/ - In 2005 volume of repo transactions made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached KZT8,090.3 bn. ($60,848.2 m.) and compared to similar period of last year increased 1.42 times (1.45 times in dollar terms). In 2004 volume of corresponding transactions on KASE has not exceeded KZT5,683.5 bn. ($42,012.0 m.). Following is the table of volumes of repo deals made on KASE in 2005 grouped by months as well as the structure of turnover and comparable data for 2004 (m.
