Real wage in September of 2005 grew by 15.3%

/Kazakhstan statistics Agency, Almaty, November 15, 05/ - Average monthly nominal wage of one employee in September of 2005 totaled KZT35367 and grew compared to similar month of last year by 24.4%, in real expression - by 15.3%, in January - September - correspondingly KZT32013, by 17.5% and by 9.3%. Growth of nominal wage in September relative to similar month of last year was registered in all types of economic activity. Wages of public health employees grew - by 31.9%, agriculture and forestry - by 29.4%, education - by 27.1%, building - by 24.5%, transport and communication - by 22.2%, industry - by 17.8% and trade - by 14.2%. In September wage of financial activity employees totaled KZT70784 and exceeded average republican level 2 times, mineral resource industry - correspondingly, KZT66992 and 1.9 times, transport and communication - KZT48663 and 1.4 times, hospitals and restaurants - KZT44695 and 1.3 times. Wage in educational sphere totaled KZT22732, that is less by 35.7% than average in the republic, public health - correspondingly, KZT19775 and by 44.1%. The smallest wage of agricultural sphere employees - KZT20242. Among industrial branches the most high-paid employees are employees of tobacco production, their wage in January-September of this year exceeded KZT110 th. (2.8 times more than in the average in the branch), crude oil and natural gas production - 109 th. (2.8 times), coke, oil products production - KZT55 th. (1.4 times). In textile and wood production it was from KZT16 to KZT22 th., that is only 42-57% from average level in industry as the whole. In January-September average wage of men totaled KZT39297, or 1.6 times more than women (KZT24051). Among republic's regions the highest wage remains in Mangistau (KZT65969) and Atyrau (KZT66785) oblasts, this is 1.9 times higher than in the average in the country.
