Complex plan of development of trunk oil pipelines of KazTransOil JSC in 2006-2010 - press-release

/KazTransOil JSC, October 4, 05/ - KazTransOil JSC has worked out the five-year Program of trunk oil pipelines system development, which is aimed at complex reconstruction, replacement and expansion of the company's existing assets, and also realization of investment projects. The program occupies the period 2006 - 2010, inclusive, estimating and forecasting company's development until year 2020 at a time. The key principle of including capital investments in the Program is a balanced approach, based on economic expediency, strategic meaning, presence of necessary resources. Total volume of investments is to be KZT100 bn., sources of financing will be own funds of KazTransOil JSC and funds borrowed on international capital markets. According to the program over 400 km of oil pipelines are to be repaired with replacement of the pipe. Realization of the program will let the company increase safety and reliability of pipelines exploitation, and will promote to more satisfaction of growing needs of oil producing companies in oil transportation.
