KASE determined leading operators of the exchange's GS purchase- sale sector in June and the first six months of the current year
/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, July 4, 05/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) has composed the list of companies - leading operators of exchange's market of government securities (GS) purchase-sale in Kazakhstan in June 2005.
Companies are ranked according to the stake of deals made by them in total gross turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold bonds). Position of each participant is expressed in the currency of payments - tenge.
A total of 29 companies participated in making GS purchase-sale deals on KASE in June, excluding the National Bank. Below is the list of ten most active operators given in descending order of their stakes in total deals volume (companies' headquarters are in Almaty) and their positions in May 2005. The stake of these operators in June was 81.0% of the exchange's GS sector turnover.

Newcomers of active top ten in comparison with May 2005 are: Kazkommertsbank JSC, BANK CASPIAN JSC, NURBANK JSC, PAIMO Bailyk asset management JSC and KIB ASSET MANAGEMENT JSC, they have replaced from top-10 ATFBank JSC (Almaty, the third position in May), Alliance Bank JSC (Almaty, the sixth position in May), Eurasian bank JSC (Almaty, the seventh position in May), Bank CenterCredit JSC (Almaty, the eighth position in May) and PAIMO Zhetysu JSC (Almaty, the tenth position in May).
Following is the corresponding table of the most active members of KASE of "K" category in the first six months of 2005. 42 companies participated in deals making in this period, besides the National Bank.
