/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Astana, May 24, 05/ - Sokolovsko- Sarbayskoye production unit (SSPU, Kostanay oblast) did not reduce the price for iron ore pellets. A day before Russia's mass media said "on the background of reduction of the price SSPU, which has lost its main consumer, reduces price for other clients" and as if already "has made an agreement with Chinese steel makers at only $60 per ton" of iron ore pellets. "This is not true because Sokolovsko-Sarbayskoye production unit did not reduce the price for its products and still sells pellets to its clients at $115 per ton", - EIA's press-service notes in its message. "Probably such the incorrect information is profitable for someone at present, during commercial dispute between SSPU and Magnitogorskiy metallurgical plant", - EIA says.
