Fire at Ust-Kamenogorsk titanium-magnesium plant left production unaffected, no threat to security of people exists- emergency

/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Ust-Kamenogorsk, March 29, 05/ - A Tuesday
morning fire at Ust-Kamenogorsk titanium magnesium plant (UKTMP, Eastern
Kazakhstan) did not affect the production and represents no threat to general
public security.
Abylkhair Imanbekov, head of emergency department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city
(administrative center of the region), told Interfax-Kazakhstan.
As press service of akim (the governor) told Interfax-Kazakhstan in ust-
Kamenogorsk, at 09:08 (local time) a fire alarm was received by the
representative of city department on emergency cases. It said that fire
happened at air compartment of administrative division #6 of UKTMK.
According to press service the fire cover wood contractions of building. Total
area under fire amounted 100 quadratic meters.
Fire was liquidated at 11:58.
