Astana's Department of finance about redemption of city's 3rd issue municipal bonds and the 6th coupon payment

/KASE, December 30, 04/ - Today Department of finance of Astana city (Department) informed Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) by the official letter about the fact that on December 27 it transferred to Central securities depository CJSC (Almaty) the full amount of the face value and the six coupon on capital's bonds of the third issue (KZZ2KY030032, KASE code - ASU036.003; $100, $6,657,700; December 26, 01 - December 25, 04, semi- annual coupon, 9.80% APR; actual/365) in accordance with their redemption. According to Department's data sum of the payment was equivalent of USD327,121.07, that at the rate of KZT130.00 per dollar was equal to KZT42,525,730.00. The main debt amounts to USD6,657,700.00 or KZT865,501,000.00. Bonds were redeemed and coupon was paid on December 27 because the planned payment date - December 25 - was a day off. [2004-12-30]
